The Gain of Function stuff IMO is an unfortunate distraction from the reality that COVID Mania is a much bigger problem than COVID itself. The op is more important than the virus. Without the op, COVID would have been understood as nothing more than another respiratory season.

I'm sure I've posted in this thread (at least once) a link to a paper from a research facility in North Carolina where very specific research to insert a spike protein from a bat corona virus into the original SARS virus, to use as a "test antagonist' for what I assume is vaccine research in anticipation of a future outbreak like this one (if it was a genuine zoonotic event,) was carried out. IE they inserted a spike protein into SARS to create a "sars like virus" that was then modified to attack mice with adapted genetics of some sort.... can't remember the exact details now. Perhaps the virus bound to the ACE2 receptor but maybe not, can't remember.

This research involved American and Chinese researchers including the woman who was head of the Wuhan Institute in question when the 2019 outbreak happened.

Dunno if you can still find the paper or not.

Almost seems like the sickening ruse was to claim "Covid was fake or just like a seasonal flu" to destract from its insidious genomic mutation properties and ultimate origins. There's no end to the millions who have died and suffered from this scourge, but it's important to ask where it truly came from and who is benefitting
