Melinda Gates was upset and uncomfortable after she and Bill Gates met with Jeffrey Epstein, The Daily Beast reports
A meeting between the Gateses and Jeffrey Epstein in 2013 reportedly left Melinda Gates upset.
The Daily Beast reported Thursday that she warned her husband about his relationship with Epstein.
The New York Times had reported that Bill Gates and Epstein met several times from 2011 to 2013.
A meeting between Bill and Melinda Gates and Jeffrey Epstein in 2013 left Melinda Gates upset at the relationship between her husband and the financier, The Daily Beast reported Thursday.
With the Gateses now splitting up, sources told the outlet that Bill Gates' friendship with Epstein — who had already pleaded guilty to soliciting an underage girl in 2008 when the two first connected in 2011 —"still haunts" Melinda Gates.
According to the outlet, the couple met with Epstein in New York City at his Upper East Side mansion in September 2013. Sources told The Daily Beast that soon after the meeting, Melinda Gates told friends of her discomfort during the encounter. Several people close to the couple reportedly said she was "furious" over her husband's relationship with Epstein.

Gates invests $49 million in sinister new contraceptive tech. You won't be able to tell from today's news coverage or press releases, but it's wirelessly controlled birth control operated by an implantable microchip.
Dare Bioscience stock rockets after new $49 million grant from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
Published: July 7, 2021 at 8:20 a.m. ET
Shares of Dare Bioscience Inc. DARE, 31.58% rocketed 63.1% in very active premarket trading Wednesday, after the California-based health care company said it was awarded a new grant of up to $48.95 million from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Trading volume spiked up to 18.1 million shares, compared with the full-day average of about 3.7 million shares. The new grant is to support the development and preclinical activities to advance Dare's investigational reversible contraceptive, DARE-LARC1, toward testing in humans. As part of the grant agreement, Dare agreed to make DARE-LARC1 and any other products available at an affordable price to people in developing countries, or in support of the U.S. educational system and public libraries. The stock has lost 10.6% over the past three months through Tuesday, while the iShares Nasdaq Biotechnology ETF IBB, -1.09% has gained 9.4% and the S&P 500 SPX, 0.29% has tacked on 6.5%.
Daré to Add Microchip-Based Birth Control to Women’s Health Portfolio
Advancing new forms of birth control is a central focus at Daré Bioscience (NASDAQ: DARE), a San Diego-based biopharma company that’s built a pipeline of experimental devices and treatments tailored for women’s health.
This week it announced plans to add another contraceptive contender to its lineup with an agreement to acquire Microchips Biotech, an MIT spinout that—with the backing of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and others—has been working to design an implant for drug delivery that could be controlled wirelessly.
Co-founded by researchers Bob Langer and Michael Cima, the company has received nearly $18 million from the Gates Foundation to design a microchip-based implant for the purposes of birth control. (It’s eligible for up to $2.5 million more next year from the organization to further the program, according to Daré Bio.)
Backed by venture investors, too, including Polaris Partners and Medtronic, Microchips also worked on applications for other conditions for which care involves regular injections or frequent dosing; it has vetted the tech in patients with osteoporosis.
In recent years Daré Bio CEO Sabrina Martucci Johnson (pictured above) and her team have been watching the work being done at Microchips as it relates to women’s contraception, she told Xconomy in a phone interview.
As envisioned by Microchips, the contraceptive implant would be gridded with tiny compartments, each containing a small dose of medication—in this case, the hormone levonorgestrel—to be released on a predetermined schedule.
Patients would be able to halt and resume the dosing regimen as needed. That would give the product an advantage over existing methods of contraception because of the increased control it would give for family planning purposes, Johnson says.
“It gives the woman the opportunity to have an effective, long-acting, reversible contraceptive for a meaningful period of time that she chooses, but also gives her a very straight-forward ability to reverse it on demand,” she says. “All you’re basically doing is controlling whether those reservoirs open and release product, or whether they stay closed and don’t release anything, and that’s not something you’re able to do right now with any of the current implant technologies.”

I don't even think he is a legit software engineer. His first operating system was bought and slightly tweaked, that became windows.

He paid that guy to ask him a question. To make an illusion that he is a source of important wisdom or knowledge. Correction, he is not a software engineer. He just stole ideas from Steve Jobs. What he is good at is false advertising that is the only thing he is good at. If he sees something profitable. He would hire people who would reverse engineer the profitable thing and then he would make a replica and would give it another name and would call it his invention... This fool is not a software engineer..same as what he did with Xbox... Stealing the concept from the ultimate, irreplaceable PlayStation Console which is far way more superior than whatever mediocre trash this fool comes up with

That's where you're mistaken, he's not a software engineer, he's a business man. I kept making that mistake too.
