Headed into the city tonight to see if there was a protest, cops everywhere. I mean five or six on every street corner. They must've brought them in from the entire state. I got ID'd twice walking into the usual protest district, and probably only made it that far because I look like a standard Metropolitan progressive type. The core group of protesters couldn't make it through, assuming they tried. I was probably one of five people passing though a phalanx of police in the area the assembly generally happens.

This was in response to people going out and enjoying the weather over the weekend. The park I play basketball at was packed, and we had pickup games going all day. People had figured out loopholes and were doing pub crawls out on the streets, getting 'take away' drinks, then walking on to the next bar or pub.

Community morale was high! There was enough civil disobedience that the rules couldn't be enforced. And oh how it made the state angry. So they've given us a curfew. They've taken the rims from the basketball courts and put chains on the play equipment.

At night they fly these loud as fuck helicopters, and I mean they are fucking loud, sound like jets, because they don't have the man power to enforce things during the day, so they've had to add the night shift police to the day shift. So to cover for there being no police at night, they've put a curfew in and use helicopters to pretend there is a police presence.

Oh, did I mention we have about 20 daily confirmed covid cases. Which isn't actually true, because people don't get tested anymore, but they also check our poo, so tell us they know we are hiding cases from them. But the point is, they are lacking the deaths and hospitalisation statistics. They can only start making those up when they have enough case numbers to conflate people in a serious condition with covid, for people in a serious condition because of covid.

Anyway looks like we'll be under martial law until we get a vaccination rate up to 80%

It will be interesting to see if the general disinterest in lockdown continues. Because if people have turned their internal controls off, there isn't much the state can do from here. If they can't enforce their own rules they must get rid of them or they become an illegitimate authority.

So society is either brought into compliance with the state, or the state with society. Ultimately the choice is up us.

As bad as things are in the USA, at least we have some cases and deaths to "justify" the fuckery. I can't imagined how brainwashed and cowardly you have to be to support state tyranny in response to fewer than 50 total deaths associated with COVID-19 in your country since the start of 2021.

Well they are following the winter summer schedule. It's winter in Australia right now, which means they need to scare everyone into getting vaccinated before summer, so that they can attribute the fall in cases to the vaccine. Then when winter comes again and cases rise, time for the booster shot. Oh look, it's summer again and everything is back to normal, better get the booster shots every winter.

Does he give you hope that 'Covid Pass' plans can be turned back?

How do you think he's served by pod and video merchants who are claiming Covid doesn't even exist?

Such an elementary point: Winning a case requires discrimination, best evidence, best argument, and avoiding superfluities, absurdities, and scams.

It appears Dr. Stock's video has gone viral. I agree with the below quoted comment that the editorializing by those 'on the Right' when sharing this video only further push those 'on the Left' further away from reaching a middle ground on this critical topic. The manner in which this topic has been politicized as an f'ing badge of representation for their political views (masks/vaccinated on the "left" vs unmasked/unvaccinated on the "right") is a major factor in the continued schism and prolonged impasse, allowing unacceptable and disastrous policies to persist well beyond standard levels of fatigue. Part of this is by design, though the conditioning is so well-calibrated at this point that 'they' only need to toss a pebble in the ocean; the ripples eventually become tsunamis.

The ongoing virus situation is the most divisive subject in terms of public opinion that I have ever encountered. Misinformation on both sides of the debate is confusing many people.

I found this 6 min contribution by a medical professional fantastic (and described in the right amount of detail) in helping me understand why current strategies are limited in their effectiveness.

I would encourage anyone who wishes to increase their understanding of respiratory viruses to watch.

Please try to look past the unfortunate and unhelpful title of the video: it has nothing to do with the speaker or his expertise - politics is not even mentioned in the narrative.

Watched this yesterday. A brilliant speech from a wise, knowledgable and highly talented MD who dares to speak up and criticize the incredible nonsense we ´ve been bombarded with thru the news, media etc and which has of course been picked up by arrogant but scientifically illiterate fact checkers. The question that now remains is: What are going to be the consequences of this unbelievable blunder and how will we and our children deal with the mess left behind? I am calling for an immediate global antiviral chemoprophylaxis campaign to first reduce the high infectious pressure that is now building up everywhere due to circulation of highly infectious variants. The latter ( delta & Co) can only expand that agressively thanks to the mass vaccination campaigns that have meanwhile trained entire populations to put tremendous immune pressure on viral infectiousness (i.e., on spike protein which is responsible for viral infectivity and happens to be the target of....you got it...all C-19 vaccines!)

Good questionnaire for 'fact-checkers', below.

Naturally i may not fully agree with his point 8 (though i'm guilty as charged. I will also in almost all scenarios object to the use of the term 'conspiracy theory' as a descriptor given its usage as a thought-stopper), but otherwise sound advice here.

Some guidance to separating the wheat from the chaff

Many of us are now becoming increasingly confused by the wealth of messages and news they are continuously receiving on the evolution of this pandemic and on how to react.

The level of contradiction has sometimes grown to an extent that even the veracity of scientific research and publications has been questioned. If you have been following the science sections of several popular mainstream media or alternative news outlets over the last few months, you will recognize that views and interpretations on mass vaccination campaigns, and all the flanking measures that derive from it, have now turned this initiative into a highly controversial topic. One of the reasons is that the evolution of this pandemic, which is basically a complex interplay between the infectious pressure exerted by the viral population and the immune pressure exerted by the human population, has now become profoundly perturbed by human intervention. Hence, to gain a good understanding of the current situation, and especially of where it is now leading to, one needs to be able to draw from different disciplines. There is no single publication, no single review, no single brilliant mind that has the analysis, let alone the solution, at hand. It’s all about collecting pieces of a complex puzzle and putting them together. If you have only a few pieces, some of which don’t even have to match, you can easily come up with several proposals on how the final image of the puzzle would look like. However, the more pieces you collect, and especially the more they also match each other, the narrower the number of options and the more one will be able to fine-tune predictions on how this final image will look like. If one truly takes the effort of taking a deep dive in the different disciplines that color this pandemic to first find the most critical pieces and to then complement those with additional matching pieces, it is possible to make fairly accurate predictions on how the pandemic is going to evolve. This doesn’t even require to collect every single molecular detail. When it comes to solving complex problems, I’ve always been much inspired by the following statement from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, stated by Sherlock Holmes:

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth’.

I am telling you this in order for you to understand the following guidance when it comes to gaining a truthful understanding of the debacle that currently unfolds and to be able to navigate your way through the stormy and troubled waters the pandemic is currently sailing. My guidance primarily pertains to learning how to screen and filter opinions and interpretations related to current global health interventions in this pandemic and the overall impact thereof on global health (and by extension on animal health).

1. Don’t pay as much attention to the opinion of silo-thinkers as you do to opinions from experts capable of drawing from the following fields: Immunology, Vaccinology, Virology, Evolutionary Epidemiology. Many experts, some of whom are undoubtedly highly reputable, have deep expertise and are highly qualified in one, sometimes even two of the above-mentioned domains. They will inevitably tend to primarily, sometimes even exclusively, focus on the discipline they have deep expertise in. Given the nature of the beast, their insights often times do not connect the dots between all of the critical elements involved. To be able to gain a helicopter view over this pandemic, a multidisciplinary educational background helps a lot, but also the willingness to take a deep dive into disciplines one is less familiar with, may sometimes make the difference. This applies, for example, when one seeks to understand why spike-specific antibodies elicited by immunization can readily outcompete innate, oligospecific antibodies for binding to the spike protein. Explanations for such distinct binding interactions and affinities are to be sought in the realm of biophysics, for example. So, don’t be impressed by big names (you have already been able to witness the many shortcomings and continuous changes in their assessments) but stay focused on the content, the rational and the consistency of the messages experts are trying to convey. A number of folks from the Vaccine Industry are very familiar with the above-mentioned fields. It’s unfortunate, though, that thus far the vast majority of them have remained silent.

2. Along the same lines, don’t pay too much attention to the ‘expert’ opinions of those who are (but here, I’d now better use ‘past tense’, i.e., ‘were’) too eager to show up all the time on TV shows and mainstream broadcasting media for there is no expert who can, at the same time, be a spotlight hog and do all the hard work required to analyze and digest the current evolution of this pandemic, not just in their small place, but also globally. They may be well surrounded but the exercise of making scientific sense out of all the capricious and, at first glance, mysterious behavior of this pandemic is best served by one’s deep thoughts and extended contemplation. The information spread becomes even less useful when politicians feel called to educate people on how the pandemic is evolving. None of them has any kind of scientific background to even remotely understand the biology behind this phenomenon.

3. Don’t pay any attention to views, opinions from experts who have a conflict of interest and whose viewpoints may, therefore, be affected by elements that are not purely science-driven. Conflict of interests can easily be uncovered: Refusal of disclosure is the key to everything.

4.Ignore experts who fiercely refuse to revisit their opinions for fear of shame or losing face. This type of pandemic is completely unprecedented and some experts have jumped too fast to conclusions, short-cuts and predictions. This is understandable, but there is no better way to find peace of mind than to be honest about the things you have been wrong about. This also applies to experts who simply decline providing answers to critical scientific questions. There is nothing wrong with voicing strong opinions. However, the stronger they are, the higher the likelihood they are going to be scrutinized and criticized. Experts who think they can afford to turn away their head from scientific questions and criticism should not be granted much credibility. The same applies to scientific information divulged by experts who refuse to engage in an open scientific debate.

5. DYOR: Do your own research to find out about people’s background and the veracity of the messages they are conveying. We’re used to doing this in other fields, like when you consider making an important financial investment, for example. Well, all this is about an investment in our health and that of our children and the upcoming generation at large. It’s more than worth taking the time to explore things yourself and connect with people whom you can trust. This is also to say that you should feel confident in the final outcome and conclusions of your own research and stay away from groupthink.

6. Along the lines of 5.: Do ignore fact checkers. It's obvious that their scientific illiteracy does not allow them to even understand the basics of the dynamics of this pandemic, let alone to validate what experts are saying. But because fact checkers are acting on a political agenda, they have no choice but to vilify and attack people who put their careers on the line, not in exchange for money as they do, but purely out of an ethical and moral obligation. Most of these arrogant but simple minded souls do not even realize that they’ve already ruined their career before they even started one and that their names are deeply engraved in the memory of those whom they defamed or have suffered from unbearable consequences as a result of the misinformation they spread. The incompetence of fact checkers and the credibility of experts they allegedly consult (but don’t name) can easily be ‘fact checked’ using a simple questionnaire as the one I have appended below.

7. Don’t waste your time paying attention to the rhetoric of experts, politicians or any other person who tends to push some mainstream judgements about vaccinated as opposed to nonvaccinated people. This simply because the arguments they’ll bring to the table in support of their discriminatory judgments and policies cannot be anything else than incorrect. Again, this is because they simply don’t understand how the pandemic is currently evolving and hence, don’t realize that both vaccinees and the nonvaccinated have now become part of the chain of viral transmission and molecular evolution. We’ll soon witness how nature is going to come clean with their short-sighted viewpoints.

8. Don’t engage with people who support conspiracy theories. These theories are complex, endless, uncertain, not as waterproof as people may try to make you believe and, most importantly... will prevent you from sleeping at night. What the science tells you is already complex and worrisome enough to take this pandemic very seriously. Don’t make things even more complicated by moving on slippery ice. I would definitely agree that there is no smoke without fire. However, the absolute priority is now about being constructive and thinking about how to contribute to protecting yourself and beloved ones. The likelihood that the answer lies in the science rather than in endless debates about evil, pre-mediated strategies is pretty high. We can deal with all this once the storm is over.

9. Look at trustworthy sources and information as a vaccine skeptic, but not as an anti-vaxxer. It’s always good to not only have an open but also critical mind, but adopting extreme positions can eventually push you in narrow corners that you don’t feel comfortable living in. A predetermined attitude will limit your creativity and sound sense of criticism, whereas an open mind is more amenable to thinking out of the box and coming up with innovative solutions.

10. If you feel completely overwhelmed by the abundance of information and contradictory messages and have not the energy, resources or capacity to digest it, don’t allow yourself to fall prey to resignation. Don’t lean towards voices preaching inevitable doomsday scenarios. Use common sense and ask yourself about your basic needs, whether vaccinated or not. Be prepared to get back to a healthier lifestyle, healthier nutrition and a higher level of social, logistic and infrastructural independence for when things run out of control.

Questionnaire for fact checkers (excerpt from email I sent to XXX , dated 14.04.2021):

> - What's your name?

> - Who's paying/ financing you?

> - What are your credentials and background? Same Q to your 'experts':

> - Who are they? What is their background (especially re: evolutionary biology, immunology, virology and vaccinology COMBINED)? And what are their arguments?

> - Did you check whether your experts are having a conflict of interest (shares/ stock options in the pharmaceutical companies producing current vaccines) or whether they are otherwise affiliated with any other private or public stakeholders of the mass vaccination campaign?>

> If you think your 'experts' merit some credibility, why then don't you set up an open, scientific debate rather than to merely serve as Mr. postman? Unless your 'experts' are willing to publicly declare that current mass human interventions in this pandemic are going to generate herd immunity and control all viral variants so that we can soon turn back to our normal lives, you should be cautious granting them any credibility.

> I've done a proper home-work and have not made any scientifically uninformed statements (you may want to educate yourself a bit on my website). I know too well that if what I am saying would ultimately prove to be incorrect, I will be under even more severe attack and pay a huge price. But how about yourself? Can we agree that that you and your company should be put out of business in case your Fact Check conclusions prove to be 'deadly' wrong? If you don't agree, I recommend you to re-do your homework properly as ultimately and inevitably, the truth about all this will come out.

> I assume you agree that this email exchange can be posted on the web. But maybe you wish to add a comment first?

This afternoon I keep coming back to the fact that I still have no idea what is really going on here. Very concerned for this fall for reasons I cannot fully articulate aside from visceral intuition: it feels like both Delta and Afghanistan are cover for something much more ominous and dangerous.

New Zealand enters nationwide lockdown over one Covid case

New Zealand has announced a snap lockdown after a man tested positive for Covid, the first case in six months.

The case was detected in Auckland, which will be in lockdown for a week, while the rest of the country will be in lockdown for three days.

Authorities say they are working on the assumption that the new case was the Delta variant.

Just around 20% of its population has been fully vaccinated.

Coromandel, a coastal town where the infected person had visited, will be in lockdown for seven days too.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said the toughest "level 4" rules were required - closing schools, offices and all businesses with only essential services remaining operational.

Ahern is of course a World Economic Forum "Young Global Leader" done good.

Peter Thiel lives in New Zealand.

Palantir Buys Gold Bars as Hedge Against 'Black Swan Event'

Palantir Technologies Inc. said it's preparing for another 'black swan event' by stockpiling gold bars and inviting customers to pay for its data analysis software in gold.

The company spent $50.7 million this month on gold, part of an unusual investment strategy that also includes startups, blank-check companies and possibly Bitcoin. Palantir had previously said it would accept Bitcoin as a form of payment before adding precious metals more recently.

Newsom and Trudeau are both consolidating power in advance of the Fall.

It is hard to trust people's morality when their sense of reality is so narrow and selective. From one of the most poignant parts of the anonymous "Primer" piece I posted --

The early suggestion that Corona would overwhelm healthcare systems everywhere has proven unfounded. Even with the treatment errors and over-hospitalisations of the first wave, outright catastrophes were limited to a few countries, and particularly in the prosperous West, the dire predictions have wholly failed. Seasonal influenza is also dangerous to the old and vulnerable and has also been known to place incredible stress on healthcare systems.

At the same time, many diseases have nevertheless gone untreated since Spring 2020, as operations and other procedures have been needlessly delayed to preserve hospital capacity, and lockdown propaganda convinced many that hospitals were to be avoided at all costs. Thus policy responses that were sold as a means of ensuring the continued availability of healthcare have resulted in mostly the opposite, and one is left to wonder how things would have been any different, if Corona had indeed overwhelmed our facilities.

I like reading Alex Berenson because his former employer, the New York Slimes, has taken to throwing him under the bus.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/19/busi ... masks.html

If you read that year old article it discusses Jack Windsor in depth. Windsor is becoming a sort of reporter folk hero to many of us in Ohio as he has balls and stands up the fascist little prick Governor Mike DeWine. DeSwine won't call on Windsor any longer at press conferences because he asks hard questions the governor is a lying piece of shit.

The Times does a nice job trying to smear both Berenson and Windsor.

Some actual news
About Moderna adverse event reports

Alex Berenson
Aug 6
323
101
Covid vaccine maker Moderna received 300,000 reports of side effects after vaccinations over a three-month period following the launch of its shot, according to an internal report from a company that helps Moderna manage the reports.

That figure is far higher than the number of side effect reports about Moderna’s vaccine publicly available in the federal system that tracks such adverse events.

Vaccine manufacturers like Moderna are legally required to forward all side effect reports they receive to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System, where they are made public each week.

Run by the Centers for Disease Control and Food & Drug Administration, the VAERS system is crucial to tracking potential problems with vaccines. It helped scientists determine the Covid vaccines may cause heart problems in young adults.

The reason for the gap is not clear. Moderna may simply still be processing the reports, though the number of reports about Moderna’s vaccine in VAERS from the first half of 2021 remained almost flat this week.

Moderna and IQVIA, the company that works with Moderna to handle the reports, did not return emails for comment.

The 300,000 figure comes from an internal update provided to employees by IQVIA, a little-known but enormous company that helps drugmakers manage clinical trials. Headquartered in North Carolina, IQVIA has 74,000 employees worldwide and had $11 billion in sales last year.

Earlier this week, Richard Staub, the president of IQVIA’s Research & Development Solutions division, sent a “Q2 2021 update” which was labeled “Confidential - For internal distribution only.”

A person with access to the presentation provided screenshots of the relevant slide, which clearly explains the 300,000 side effect reports were received over “a three-month span” - not since the introduction of the vaccine in December - and differentiates between them and “medical information queries.”

The slide does not make clear what three months are covered but refers to the “global launch” of the vaccine, which essentially took place in the first quarter of 2021. Whether the slide is referring to January through March or April through June, the 300,000 figure dwarfs the number of reports in VAERS for the Moderna vaccine for either period.

A query of VAERS this morning reveals roughly 110,500 adverse events reports worldwide for Spikevax completed from January through March. All but 650 were in the United States. VAERS also includes 78,000 reports completed from April through June, including 71,400 in the United States.

Those figures overstate the number of reports Moderna has provided, because they include many reports from patients, physicians, and other health-care providers, as well as those from Moderna.

VAERS was established in 1990 and is jointly managed by the CDC and FDA, which contract with General Dynamics to administer it. It has struggled to keep up with the hundreds of thousands of reports it has received about the Covid vaccines since their rollout began in December. For much of the spring, it lagged months behind in making reports public.

VAERS is usually characterized as a voluntary system. But physicians and healthcare providers are required to report certain serious post-vaccine side effects, including deaths. However, the CDC and FDA have no real way to check if they are doing so.

Healthcare providers do have discretion over whether they report less serious side effects. Many have decided not to do so for the Covid vaccines, because the volume of reports is already so high.

However, vaccine manufacturers must forward ALL reports they receive, as the VAERS Website makes clear. It distinguishes between healthcare providers, who are “strongly encouraged” to report various events, and manufacturers like Moderna, who “are required [emphasis added] to report to VAERS all adverse events that come to their attention.”

Moderna’s stock has nearly quadrupled this year as sales of the Covid vaccine have soared. On Thursday, the company reported $4.4 billion in sales and $2.8 billion in profits for the second quarter.

As of today’s update, VAERS contains more than 3,000 reports of deaths following Moderna vaccinations.

A Letter to the Unvaccinated

Posted on August 2, 2021 by admin

OCLA researcher Dr. Denis Rancourt and several fellow Canadian academics penned an open letter to support those who have decided not to accept the COVID-19 vaccine.

The group emphasizes the voluntary nature of this medical treatment as well as the need for informed consent and individual risk-benefit assessment. They reject the pressure exerted by public health officials, the news and social media, and fellow citizens.

Control over our bodily integrity may well be the ultimate frontier of the fight to protect civil liberties. Read the letter below or as a PDF here.

Open Letter to the Unvaccinated

You are not alone! As of 28 July 2021, 29% of Canadians have not received a COVID-19 vaccine, and an additional 14% have received one shot. In the US and in the European Union, less than half the population is fully vaccinated, and even in Israel, the “world’s lab” according to Pfizer, one third of people remain completely unvaccinated. Politicians and the media have taken a uniform view, scapegoating the unvaccinated for the troubles that have ensued after eighteen months of fearmongering and lockdowns. It’s time to set the record straight.

It is entirely reasonable and legitimate to say ‘no’ to insufficiently tested vaccines for which there is no reliable science. You have a right to assert guardianship of your body and to refuse medical treatments if you see fit. You are right to say ‘no’ to a violation of your dignity, your integrity and your bodily autonomy. It is your body, and you have the right to choose. You are right to fight for your children against their mass vaccination in school.

You are right to question whether free and informed consent is at all possible under present circumstances. Long-term effects are unknown. Transgenerational effects are unknown. Vaccine-induced deregulation of natural immunity is unknown. Potential harm is unknown as the adverse event reporting is delayed, incomplete and inconsistent between jurisdictions.

You are being targeted by mainstream media, government social engineering campaigns, unjust rules and policies, collaborating employers, and the social-media mob. You are being told that you are now the problem and that the world cannot get back to normal unless you get vaccinated. You are being viciously scapegoated by propaganda and pressured by others around you. Remember; there is nothing wrong with you.

You are inaccurately accused of being a factory for new SARS-CoV-2 variants, when in fact, according to leading scientists, your natural immune system generates immunity to multiple components of the virus. This will promote your protection against a vast range of viral variants and abrogates further spread to anyone else.

You are justified in demanding independent peer-reviewed studies, not funded by multinational pharmaceutical companies. All the peer-reviewed studies of short-term safety and short-term efficacy have been funded, organized, coordinated, and supported by these for-profit corporations; and none of the study data have been made public or available to researchers who don’t work for these companies.

You are right to question the preliminary vaccine trial results. The claimed high values of relative efficacy rely on small numbers of tenuously determined “infections.” The studies were also not blind, where people giving the injections admittedly knew or could deduce whether they were injecting the experimental vaccine or the placebo. This is not acceptable scientific methodology for vaccine trials.

You are correct in your calls for a diversity of scientific opinions. Like in nature, we need a polyculture of information and its interpretations. And we don’t have that right now. Choosing not to take the vaccine is holding space for reason, transparency and accountability to emerge. You are right to ask, ‘What comes next when we give away authority over our own bodies?’

Do not be intimidated. You are showing resilience, integrity and grit. You are coming together in your communities, making plans to help one another and standing for scientific accountability and free speech, which are required for society to thrive. We are among many who stand with you.
