I'd agree with you she doesn't seem at all confused in that clip. Thing is, there's nothing she says in that clip that I disagree with. For example, I believe the laws of my own land are recently become immoral and see no reason to agree to live under or abide by them. The powers that be decided that my life and that of everyone else in these islands can be legally snuffed out by agents of the state. At that point I am no longer subject to those laws, nor is anyone else. I know it, and I hope to persuade everyone else of the same truth in due course. If all the most prolific criminals in the world today are either in government, or above government, then why should I have any less contempt for their laws than they do? In the end, the beauty of a legal system is that it protected me, as well as every other, impartially. It no longer does, and perhaps it never did. Fuck it.

All quite true, though not sure she's viewing it in the same context as you are. Operating under the assumption that whatever she says publicly is part of a campaign managed by others (which may well have her input at this point), it appears there's a push towards creating increased destabilization/distrust of existing systems (to eventually introduce new systems under the authorship of many of the same currently steering [rigged] ships). Ultimately she's just 1 small piece. There are many other mouthpieces out there in grander leadership positions with similar roles to play.

I agree. I see exactly what you see. And yet I know that there is an imperative to disobey immoral laws, whether that suits the supranational powers agenda or not. I'm not a Christian, I haven't yet been able to imagine the church which would have me as a member. My sense of moral obligation is organic and it arises entirely from life. My life. Civil disobedience isn't exactly a novel idea in environmental activism. Everything from climbing onto oil rigs to chaining yourself to mining equipment or blocking traffic is illegal, but considered a (to varying degrees) acceptable form of illegal protest.

I can't speak for the author of the tweet, but at a minimum it should be clear he's not comparing Greta to Hitler. My read of the tweet is he's referring to the increasingly draconian positions/rhetoric of the 'climate alarmists' (15min cities, net zero, etc) as having parallels to certain rhetoric from the 1920s.

The citizens of Germany during that timeframe were led to believe there were imminent threats to their livelihoods, convincing many that drastic measures needed to be taken. A confluence of events during that particular time period placed many in a collective trance.

There is no doubt many have fallen prey, minimally, to covid madness the last couple years. 'Climate Alarm' is another compelling siren song.
