Almost every Dem—along w/ the ever-radical @BernieSanders — just voted against the most basic oversight on this aid, going so far as to invoke the "racist" filibuster to block it
Other than deliberately deceiving the public, what could possibly be the motive for less transparency & accountability?
https://rumble.com/v32z8nu-systemThere is essentially no oversight on the billions in weapons & funding the US is funneling into Ukraine.
And like in every other US war, it is likely just a matter of time before we go to war against groups armed with our own "misplaced" weapons from this conflict.

Bernie Sanders joined every Senate Dem except 2 (Ossoff and Tester) in voting NO on an amendment to appoint an Inspector General to provide oversight and supervision on the billions of dollars the US is sending to Ukraine, the most corrupt country in Europe.

@mtracey
Once again the Senate rejected a proposal to establish a lead Inspector General to oversee Ukraine spending and enhance legislative oversight. This wasn't some "isolationist" measure: it was introduced by hardcore GOP hawks Wicker and Kennedy. But the Dems still all voted it down
This was a highly attended weapons trade show, specializing in drones. There was a bunch of small and medium drone makers/developers, weapons dealers, cryptographer (drone data needs to be encrypted) including specialist team from the Baltics, and a HELL OF A LOT of NATO brass, Generals, decision makers.
This is the first Robot War
RF won this war with cheap drones. US/NATO are way behind trying to catch up to the tech

Me, I expected he'd get a poison dinner in Minsk or Petersburg and die of "natural causes," but that probably shows I've been softened by the novichok propaganda. Real Russian assassinations be hardcore. Remember Lebed? Helicopters, planes, car bombs, just riddle some guy and his escort with bullets in the street. I can see why Putin prefers to avoid planes at this point. Will they blame it on Kiev? (For once, I'd not believe it.) Anyway, by tomorrow the Western propaganda will be telling us Prigozhin was a big hero and a secret democrat.

For the scant nothing it is likely worth, a longtime research buddy of mine with a mixed geopol track record that does include some remarkable hits firmly believes the entire Wagner revolt was a kayfabe move to get those assets out of Ukraine and into Africa to kick the commodity supercycle wars off in earnest. Ukraine is simply a matter of holding & attrition now. He also believes that yesterday's assassination was a US/NATO hit that was enacted, either by bomb or by sabotage, on an airstrip in Mali prior to entering Russian airspace.
Just to amplify the hermeneutics of paranoia, I proposed that the assassination itself never happened and they're all hard at work on the ground in Mali.
