Ad-buys are one main track of a major-party campaign strategy, and the other track was their even more disastrous media-talk strategy. They just pushed "Russia hacking the election," again absolutely nothing programmatic. Where was the last-minute jobs program promise, or anything?! Both of the tracks were just used to attack Trump. One was true: he is a bad man, but superfluous. The other was ridiculous: he is a Russian agent! These a) merely repeat and do not add to what the corporate media was already doing for Clinton in the last month, b) reinforce the Trump base's sense of personal victimization without adding anything whatsoever to the Clinton vote, c) reinforce the impression that there's no political program on the Clinton side.

Utterly disastrous, incomprehensible choices, and yet so fucking in line with what the Clinton machine was always about.

And there it is, succinctly laid out. 900 pages of 'Trump is Seriously Dangerous' postings can not change the above factors. If anything, they only serve to divert attention away from what may invariably turn out to be repeatable mistakes if not addressed directly.

(disclaimer: I've no personal interest in either party rectifying strategy, as any correction would only serve the beneficiaries of either/both Parties. The success of any correction/re-calibration would largely rely on occlusion; sleight of hand; high-end parlor tricks. The commoners are gluttons for optics.)

~8 yrs later and it’s only gotten more absurd, stupid, and post-satirical.

Devolution/regression — which was all part of the plan. Incremental dumbing down of mainstream rhetoric and talking points (and talking heads).

Here's one of myriad examples of the unhinged lunacy that passes for political commentary in 2024:

Which then leads to...

Vice President Harris condemned former President Trump after his former chief of staff John Kelly said he praised Adolf Hitler while in office. Harris claimed Trump was pursuing "unchecked power" and continued to criticize his "enemy from within" rhetoric.

"Congratulations, Stupid", indeed. 2024 version.

(Do I need to call out the irony that the VP of an administration complicit in administering and enforcing overtly/brazenly totalitarian mandates and extended lockdowns is calling out another politician's [reported] pursuit of "unchecked power"? What about all the lemmings set to vote for her that were all dutifully silent and/or equally complicit in such impositions/affronts?)

Edit to add, as a reminder: my position is that Trump is a Trojan horse/limited hangout variant, and increasingly, I’m leaning towards the notion that this election will not be close, at all. This is due in part to:

- The inclusion of Kennedy and Tulsi (and others) on Trump’s team;
- The inclusion of the Cheneys on Kamala’s team;
- Obama’s ill-timed ‘scolding’ of black men;
- Kamala presenting herself as incompetent, drunk, unhinged, incapable of articulating thoughts without a teleprompter;
- Kamala skipping the Al Smith dinner and instead opting for a cringe-inducing attempt at video skit presentation via an old SNL character (the last candidate to skip it lost 49 out of 50 states);
- Walz self-identifying as a ‘knucklehead’ and other awkward mannerisms relative to the crisp/articulate presentation of JD Vance;
- Mark Cuban the buffoon as billionaire spokesperson for Kamala as a poor counter to Musk
- etc, etc.

One can speculate/argue that the above developments are either poor decisions/strategies on the part of the Harris campaign, or part of a more elaborate ‘op’ with larger/longer-term aims, which include the near-term election of D.Trump as President once again.

Regardless, the Election outcome will be Lose / Lose for the citizenry. I anticipate certain events looming in the coming year (perhaps a long-anticipated market crash, some form of massive EMF solar flare event, etc). Or merely the continuation of the Clown Show as presented in earnest since ~2019.

Of course I may be wrong about all or some of the above.

We shall see.
