>> luigi’s last known address was in hawaii. how does he suddenly turn up in nyc?
>> uses a fake id to check into a hostel near the crime scene—how convenient
>> goes *from hawaii to nyc to pennsylvania* in a matter of days
>> gets caught at a mcdonald’s after a nationwide manhunt. really?
This will have to be cleared up, or not, but at his bail hearing, he was vague about his current domicile and then there is this:
Weeks before UnitedHealthcare shooting, suspect was reported missing to SFPD
Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old identified as a “strong person of interest” in last week’s slaying of a health insurance executive on the streets of Manhattan, was reported missing to San Francisco police last month, The Standard has learned.
His mother, Kathleen Mangione, made the report to the San Francisco Police Department on Nov. 18, according to a police source with knowledge of the case. It wasn’t immediately clear whether Mangione had been in San Francisco or if his mother had reason to believe he was.
His mother thinks he is "missing" and then doesn't recognize him in those first photos?
Also, originally there was talk that he had come from Atlanta - which is a long ride for someone with severe back pain but now the story is:
The inbound bus originated in Atlanta but it was not immediately clear where the suspect boarded. The sources said he was spotted on board in Washington, D.C., so he boarded there or somewhere between D.C. and Atlanta.
Also this "I am a patsy" 2024 version (?)
Luigi Mangione on his way to his extradition hearing shouts: "This is completely out of touch (unjust?) and an insult to the intelligence of the American people and the lived experience"

Klippenstein has also published what he claims is the real "manifesto" (more like a short note written after the murder):
“To the Feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn't working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy. United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allwed them to get away with it. Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.”
