WTF? Bloody ridiculous.

SLAD is one of the people that makes this place worthwhile.

Mind linking, because I was looking and couldn't see it. (Curiousity!)

WR, thanks for this. It describes what I call confusionism, the now predominant style of politics. Confusion he says, Vaudeville, he says, incoherence, and what comes out of it is autocratic control.

Just registering my appreciation for WR and his difficult job. Not much more to add to above posts.

I don't know. That sounds like work. :tongout

I'm thinking of unbanning the entire list, to see what happens. Thoughts?

Five years ago Jeff was exactly right on Covid. Quite a few of the un-banned members called him 'far-right' for being right, including you if I'm not mistaken. At this point, it can't make much difference. But it certainly couldn't hurt.

EDIT: Reading further up thread, I'm no longer sure what you're proposing. If you're talking about un-banning everybody who is currently banned, I support it.

If you're talking about anything else, meh.

Thanks for the input.

For the record, I never called or characterized Jeff as rightwing; Jeff is way too sophisticated for that.

Yes, I'm talking about un-banning everybody who is currently banned. Not really as an amnesty, but rather an experiment.
