Here's the disinfo line that Douglas Rushkoff recently spewed in his service to the 9/11 cover-up, that 'truthers' are really just racist for refuting the '19 Arab hijacker' cover story-

A relevant subtext is the sheer disbelief non-US citizens could have organised 9/11 without US government assistance--racism by another (subtle) name.

This is fecal material of the most pungent.

I agree that any racist subtext should be avoided. I also think that is irrelevant to the topic. The "racist" argument serves all kinds of agendas, because it can be used any number of ways. I could make the [often heard] argument about Barack Obama being black contributing to his success, and it could be used to imply that I was racist.

Let me put it this way: "19 Arab Radicals in Caves" do NOT possess the ability to carry out the attack [even the official story] without significant foreign intelligence aid.

Call that racist, I call it reality.

I think racism is mostly an injected straw man in the 9/11 Truth movement which is comprised mostly of anti-war peace and justice types, not John Birchers.

I see the racism of American Exceptionalism as both more prevalent and more problematic in supporting the cover story and the subsequent permanent torture-supported oil war.

One day a guy with wife and small kids in his car started yelling at me for having a 9/11 truth bumper sticker. He was outraged at the suggestion that "Americans would kill Americans."

That's some brainwashing. And this America as Master Race/Chosen Few mentality is extremely common.

Really? Seems to me from reading internet posts that there are a large percentage of people who claim that it 'woke them up' and who previously, (or even still in non-9/11-related issues) had very mainstream and conservative views.

"Arab radicals in caves" = no google hits. "Arabs in caves" over 5,000. Scoffing at the caricature of Arab troglodytes, yes, that is racist.

You know these guys weren't living in caves. They were cultured and Westernized. Connected. Going there is dangerous to the covert players. Saying they were "Arabs in caves" divorces them from the operational structure, and saves the operation.

that is probably true. but most of the people I see at the war rallies don't look like they're young enough hippies to be attending their first. the "truth" movement is very much a part of that, although not in an "organized" sense.

My main issues with the site are its various attempts at disposing of babies and bathwater.
