OE and Perelandra-I declare you both magnificent! (As if that means much coming from a 43 year old queen-hehe-at least I am thankful I am a queen WITHOUT any royal blood.) I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. Thanks Perlandra for the two poems-now Clementina will have another one to fill her feline brain tonight. Thanks so very much for the new images OE and aa! I have had a connection less than an hour so I will be coming back to them-the queer anarchism caught my eye and the Pleroma and the invoking-banishing chart-fk connections goin again-they are all beautiful and thought provoking. I was going to try imageshack 2day-but as of now I am offline again so I dont know-back again
My favorite modern poem is Love Letter Written in a Burning Building by Anne Sexton- If I can get a stable connection i will try to post a link to it or write it out-however never in my life have i met anyone else who liked poor Anne-I guess I just like the poem because Anne reminds (her life anyway) reminds me of mine in some ways-esp as the neediness and wanting and then rejecting love-thinking inside that u r going mad-and I have always felt like I have been in a burning building! This thread and a lot of ideas on RI provoke so many memories. The Ringworld series was some of the first sci-fi I ever read. The last Greg Bear book I read was Slant-think he wrote it anyway.
In recent weeks a repairman had to come over to work on my hot water heater. My condo is hardly Grand Central even when I was in better health and I am used to the people that come over being only those I know-usually just my ma and my bf/fb -i really don't know what to call it -would not dignify what we have by the word relationship.
When Mr. Repairman came in he seemed to make a snorting/digust kind of noise-I figured out quickly that he did not approve of my hanging of the old Soviet flag on my wall-really I am not a commie anymore I just put it there to be offensive for some reason-it offends my latino bf most of all-my fam just thinks i am strange and loves me anyway-Z(Devin believes in conspiracies dontcha know)
Mr. R was re-offended when he came to the area where the hot water heater is-it is where my moggys litter box is- and stated "I don't like cats"
I told the large overweight fellow that it was his business-but that if he tried to hurt mine- I would take one of his tools and make a dent in his skull-we just kind of looked at each other for a sec and he started his work-normally i would offer coffee or something to drink-but i really didnt like the guy and he didnt like me-later I heard him mutter "Cats and commies"-I almost wonder if he reported me to DHS and really don't give a fig if he did-oh well please forgive my wool gathering-I am just shocked at all of the "Memories, Dreams and Reflections" these pages cause me to have-Thanks again for all of the beautiful things-where do I get an Art is Resistance poster? i will take down the scarlet banner and replace it with that!

And it feels like we're living in that split second of a car crash.
