cheer up Honey, have a glass of Tang
"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

When I see the towers fall
It cannot be denied
That as a spectacle
It is a realization of the mind.
I'm standing on a mountaintop
And letting out a scream
It is the language of the earth
It is the language of the beasts.
There's no point to look behind us
We left the corpse behind.
Because flesh is weak and forms break down
They cannot last forever....

It's always nice to run into a video on YouTube of a show you actually attended.

I was at this Zeppelin gig at the Garden in '75, and even though Plant's voice was fucked up, Zep was generally kick-ass in the extreme.

And I attended this Day on the Green show, which apparently was the day before the death of Plant's young son.

He is probably best known as the voice of Jiminy Crikett in Pinochio.
