RI Art Show Reports

Post by Project Willow »

I thought I'd start a new thread for ongoing reports and gossip from the RI Art show in Seattle.

Today I met Annie Aronburg as well as Mr. A, as they breezed into town to deliver Annie's artwork. Annie had a bit of last minute framing to do while Mr. A availed himself of the facilities to plot next moves. I also got to meet the canine contingent of the A. family who were all too adorable for words.

The A.'s were obliged to maintain some silence as PW's art show was video taped (sorry guys!)

I look forward to spending more time with the Ms. Aronburgs (Victorians would spin in their graves over such usage, woohoo!) and can't wait to meet all the rest of you adventurous folk!

So as I was hanging the show this evening, I did as I usually do when I visit the RI board, I giggled. You guys are very funny!

Here's a link to give your friends:

Oh, and I plan to feature some of your writings on the board along with your artworks. Please point me to a particular post if you have a preference (via pm). Thanks.

Good luck to all. Willow, you're kind to arrange this exhibit. For those of us who are to distant to attend, will someone be photographing the gallery and posting the various works here so we all can enjoy the fine art hanging out in Seattle?

Well, I got my train ticket, but am wondering if I shouldn't have booked the return so early. They had only two departures back to Vancouver, one at 7:40 am & 5:45 pm. Is anyone going to be hanging around Saturday? I'm wondering if I can switch to the 5:45 departure.

"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.
