What constitutes Misogyny?

If you want to reserve your judgment on possible acts of misogyny until you can "establish a baseline for the way context is analyzed" (??) and have heard from all parties involved that's fine with me. I'm going to move right along though.

I am calling for perspective from both sides of the story, not saying that only women need to look at it from our perspective, I should have made that more clear from the get go.

With the power imbalance, as a rule, women are already finely in tune with the male perspective, it is necessary for our survival.

I've told you 3 times that your call for perspective is not appropriate, it's not a rational or workable approach (to put it nicely) but you're not listening to me. I am so surprised.

I want to state that this isn't the first time I have felt like because of my sex I was labeled as a misogynist in this thread, specifically because of comments like this that group all men in the same category. I like to think I am equally concerned about the growth of identity for both male and females, hearing this multiple times in this thread makes me wonder if my actions do not match my intent.

Your intent has been quite clear to me since your earliest interjections, to delegitimize the voices of women, by requiring that we look to some outside authority in order to determine if we've really been hurt or not. Yes, that's a misogynistic point of view, it's also an anti-social justice point of view. All oppressed groups seek to reclaim for themselves the power of naming.

Ironic, Project Willow, you have no qualms about negatively labeling others on the board (misogynists, etc talking about board members here not people you've mentioned in your life who are obvious ones), categorizing them into a backwards women experience negating caste and dehumanizing them (assholes) all the while feeling you are the ultimate authority on a subject in which your opinions are absolute. I'm not talking about your personal experiences of misogynism, in which you are the ultimate authority of course, but how it is perceived and affected by others, both men and women, for which you can't be the ultimate authority. Do you see the difference?

You seem to find most people who disagree with you inferior when my guess is most of them (definitely not all of them) probably are the least misogynistic people you could encounter in real life.

I honestly didn't infer any negative motivation on his part. Did you? Most of his posts are a deeper follow up on a source.
