The Law of Unintended Consequences
It's bound to bite 'em back. The subject is too volatile; a little ranching town such as John Day will not appreciate having a pedophile foisted on them. Anything they try to throw at you is documented in the case of the priest (you got them to pay for your therapy, which was an admission of guilt on their part!) Any mud they try to sling at you will be sticking to their hands.

Stay strong. --MaryK
