The same dynamic happens here every time there's a subject for which the basic, fundamental thesis requires a leap of faith: not everyone is interested in taking that leap, and those that already have stepped off the edge of the rabbit hole begin their sanctimonious mewlings. Those sounds are always the same. "You've been brainwashed into disbelieving your own eyes." "Your attempts at analysis are deflections and distractions from my truth." "I'm being bullied for my intuitions." "Thank god there are a few sane individuals left here." "Why are you defending the oppressors/puppetmasters??"

And always, always...

"The persistence and tone of some of the posters here is troubling and suspicious."

Honestly.

Attempting to understand the deep state is not a religion or a suicide pact. Insistence upon owning the only truth is the give away that not only are the arguments weak, but so is the advocate of that argument.

what's the leap of faith? what's the truth?

nobody here on either side of the discussion has decided yet.

one "side" seems to be saying we shouldn't even consider what to believe.

I know I don't know the truth. It's interesting that most online discussions attempting to discern what the truth might be have been throttled.

That is a lie. Or, to put it another way, that is your truth.

"truth" usually has a more complicated meaning than you're suggesting.

many posters here have said even discussing or trying to make sense of the details of pizzagate is "irresponsible" and "dangerous"

so, not a lie

Realistically, many if not most of the discussions here can be considered irresponsible and dangerous, if properly addressed. Nevertheless, "one side" obviously does not have a monolithic opinion on pizza gate - that is the terrain of the true believers.

what you're calling "realistic" sounds to me like it means "expedient", honestly.

I think there are a lot of questions left to be answered and it's irresponsible to suggest they should be ignored.

sounds like you've made your mind up about this topic, though.

My mind is made up that it ought to be discussed with a bit less prejudice regarding the motivations of those for whom your truth is not theirs.

This thread is now 90-plus pages. No one is shutting down anyone's discussion, investigation, or whatever,-you-choose-to-call-this-amorphous-thing, and any assertion to the contrary is demonstrably false.

My impression of this thread and my limited participation in it is that any dissenting and/or critical assessment of pieces of the alleged puzzle are being labeled as either partisan bias or off point "diversion" because disproving A doesn't disprove B. This leads to an infinite recursive loop wherein the hypothesis can never be disproven, because it and its component parts are always changing. If the alleged codewords in the Podesta wikileaks emails aren't proof, then it's the art in this house, or the bands at the pizza joint, or his Tweets, or the Besta pizza logo, or whatever...Ad infinitum.

That's all well and good and par for the course in conspirotainment, but the insinuation of nefarious or ideological motives to anyone who presents a questioning attitude is misplaced and unproductive.

No one can disprove "Pizzagate" because even the biggest proponents for the "truth" contained therein can't yet say what exactly it is.

tapitsbo, I believe it's more likely they're saying, "consider what you're believing."

I agree, you "don't know the truth" and acknowledge neither do I. It's not that discussion's being "throttled" here or elsewhere.

False allegations are not helpful, but can be harmful, with more than the targeted being harmed.

On the surface, every sensational false alarm serves to help undermine the credibility of the next true claim to be raised. The next claim to arise will wear the tarnish of falsehood that preceded it, and that must now be polished through to see the truth emerge that's hidden below.

So, above all, remember we have survivors of R/A and S-R/A who are members here.

It's always wise to not speak or act recklessly. And never accuse without solid evidence.
