Is Bolton the one Fitzgerald is after in Plamegate?

Remember how the Dems have been requesting, as a part of Bolton's confirmation process, that the Bush administration turn over records from a couple of years ago regarding Bolton's request for CIA records that he had no need to know? Could Bolton have been looking for information on Wilson and CIA wife Plame? Just popped into my head as I was reading a Robert Parry article. Is the leaker Bolton or connected to him?

After the Wilson op ed piece in the NYTimes, Bolton, who also had access to CIA files about its operatives, probably told Rove and Libby about Plame and her possible connection to Joe Wilson and his trip, and it was Rove and libby who called Cooper, Novak, and the other reporters on strict background (double super secret, whatever that means; obviously much deeper cover than cross your heart and hope to die).......

Remember, John Bolton was forced on Colon-oscopy Powell in the State Department, probably to spy on Powell and others' activities.

clearance to have had such information about Wilson's wife. Does he or doesn't he have such clearance and where is the documentation to this?

If you google "Bolton Niger uranium" you'll get lots of results about Bolton's effort to push the false yellow cake story before the Iraq invasion. Here's an example below. The Washington Note Archives I'm gonna bet that Bolton had something to do with the Valerie Plame disclosure based on this circumstantial evidence: 1. He pushed the yellow cake story. 2. He asked for the identity of the American citizen speaking on intercepted communications by the National Security Agency on numerous occasions 3. He has a well-established reputation for losing his temper when he doesn't get his way, and acting mean and vindictive 4. Carl Ford's testimony described a man who does not care about the rules but, rather, his policy objectives; the ends justify the means Anyhow, that's my barely informed opinion on which administration official(s) was behind punishing Plame and her husband for her husband's challenge to the yellow cake story.
