guest visitor IPs
Are there any tools available to monitor the ip addresses of the numerous lurkers? I'm curious to do a census.

The only way I am aware of by which you can observe IP's of non-posting members is through the banning option in the moderator control panel. Find a username in the members list and click on it to see their profile. From there, select "Banning" underneath the "Board Presence" section of their profile, directly below their username or avatar in the upper right. Once you get to the Banning control panel, select "Ban IP's" at the bottom of the options menu. I believe - Jeff will have to verify - that the IP listed in the box at the top under "Ban One or More IP's" belongs to that poster. So you can have at least one to work with.
