Is TO mayor Rob Ford involved in a drug-related murder?!

Post by Jerky »

Reading between the lines of this Toronto Star article would seem to indicate that there is a chance this might be the case. After all, if the young man took part in the clandestine cell phone recording of the mayor smoking CRACK COCAINE with a bunch of his homies, would it not make sense that His Honor would want to have that hushed and covered up? But do read on to learn more about this tawdry, revolting public spectacle:

At long last, will THIS be the end of the shameful Rob Fucking Ford chapter of Toronto's existence?!

Cheers!

Wow, that's pretty crazy. There's no evidence that he had anything to do with that guy's death, but the story has got enough batshit insanity going for it already. Like you say, definitely warrants some serious questions.

http://www.thestar.com/news/city_hall/2 ... _says.html
Mayor Rob Ford says allegations he was videotaped smoking a crack pipe are “ridiculous” but ignored councillors’ pleas to explicitly deny or answer questions about the Toronto Star story.

Ford emerged from his office Friday and said: “Anyways, like I said this morning, these allegations are ridiculous, another story with respect to the Toronto Star going after me, and that's all I have to say.”

Rob Ford: 42 remarkable moments from Toronto mayor’s career

Judging by some of the items on that list, it wouldn't be surprising if he had a bit of Ted Haggard type affair going as well. He doth protest too much, methinks.

Is there a possibility he's being set up (thanks in part to an apparent weakness for crack, lmao) or no such possibility because, well, he's a conservative? (Between this story and the Bosma one, you'd figure a board chock full of Canadians would be, like, wayyyy more interested. Not so much, though?)

Agreed, I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been more Ford and Bosma chatter... But then again, we are known to be 'apathetic' ;)

Ford still isn't saying too much, most likely on the advice of legal counsel. Although his silence on the matter is starting to be interpreted but he public as guilt... Will be interesting to see how the Gawker crowd funding goes and if the video will actually see the light of day.

The Ford video will emerge, and it's just a matter of time before he resigns. He's DONE. The Bosma murder and the disappearance of Laura Babcock-- and the two young men accused-- all that just seems to have drugs, money, and young wanna-be gangster-sociopaths sprinkled all over it, IMHO.

He may well be... Breaking news that his high school football team just canned him as coach. If the video is legit and does go viral, definitely bad news for Ford. While I don't support him per se, I can agree that some folks have definitely got it out for him and it seems will stop at nothing to get him tossed from Gov't...

Fuck Ford. He's the worst kind of hypocrite, one who practices what he preaches against.

Anyone think there's a possibility Bosma's connected to this?

If y'all wanna contribute to Gawker's Crack-Starter, go here.

I gave 20 bucks. That's more activism than I've done in years. And I couldn't be prouder.

The Bosma story is awful, just awful. But it's kind of familiar to us Canadians, sadly... Rich guy figures his money makes him superhuman, above the law. It's Conrad Black meets Paul Bernardo meets Picton the Pig-Farming Serial Killer all over again.

Jerky,

"Picton the Pig-Farming Serial Killer..."

It's Pickton. Picton is our County seat; he is not the person you seek.

i have no idea what you're all talking about.

also i'm from detroit, so this is not really that odd to me. it would be odd for a public official NOT to be a low-life criminal scumbag.

so, um, yeah.

but hi jerky. nice to see you posting more often.
