His knowbility is slipping since his death but I'd be TM is as well known as TL.

Meanwhile ... we can MAKE the connection - we already have!

What an interesting character.

We do indeed live in a time where exponentially *more* is possible than ever before. I literally wake up every morning wondering what kind of crazy sci-fi thing will happen today, forever changing our world. It's like the timewave zero portal got left open and is spewing infinite possibilities ad nauseum, enabled by our technical wizardry.

Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling the transmission.

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

Terence Mckenna - posthumously ( hyphenated), would be an interesting president.

I would have Graham Hancock running his campaign sloganing with
If we don"t have freedom over our own Consciousness, then democracy itself is an irrelevance

I wake up every morning wanting to be a catalyst for some new kind of crazy sci-fi thing around me - and yesterday my cabbie from Heathrow went from "My English spelling is poor. I am stupid" to "I am contacting the Open University about doing a course in International Relations which is my hearts desire" in 20 mins. I love NLP :)

I think a 'joint' McKenna - Zappa ticket would be great.

HA! It was Graham who alerted me to the new 2016 campaign video via bacefook.

EDIT to add: Go McKenna / Zappa 2016

Or maybe DICK as his VP instead of Zappa?

For the whole of Obama's first term liberal airheads were making me puke by fawning over him saying what a great orator he was, and how intelligent, while he barked and droned that sanctimonious groupwritten PR boilerplate straight off the teleprinter and continued his predecessors' work of shitting all over the planet.

Terence McKenna dead is a much better speaker and much smarter and more honest than Barack Obama alive. If there's a McKenna-Chomsky ticket in 2016 then I will take out US citizenship and vote, even if Chomsky expires in the meantime.

McKenna was an extraordinary speaker, but he still doesn't get enough credit as the brilliant writer he is. I've just re-read his True Hallucinations, and I'm now re-reading his Food of the Gods, two very different books and both enthralling.

It's so interesting how the passing of his timewave theory date in 2012 did NOTHING to decrease his popularity. It's growing steadily!

In November, someone released this amazing 3hr 30 min compilation

Timewave zero was a small part of what he had to say, and I don't think he was that big a fan of what it became.

True Hallucinations is a great book, but has anyone ever read The Invisible Landscape and tried to make sense of it? The baselines and important dates that were used to determine the 2012 date were pretty arbitrary, and based more on the Mckenna brothers personal lives than some overarching narrative about human history. Its still fascinating tho and has plenty of real brain food.
