Was wondering the same thing. Haven't seen her in two weeks...

Hope SLAD is healthy and happy and has no other problems in her current life.

Sent her a p.m. a week ago but guess she's not picking up her mail.
Hey....

Where are you?

Re: Where's SLAD?
Grizzly, if you miss SLaD so much, why did you regularly antagonize her?
FWIW I believe she's taking a break to attend to some personal matters; it hasn't been her style to let us know one way or the other, so I just hope she'll be back with us soon.

Re: Where's SLAD?
Wait? Is disagreeing antagonizing, NOW? I get frustrated too... I think she's an integral part of RI. But I strongly disagree with her Russia stance. And her DNC DCCC support. Other than that, she's the bomb!

I hope she's on a fishing trip and having a marvelous time.

^^^^^^^^
I hope the same for any/all fellow humans that traverse this forum, along with any others maintaining their resolve to keep swimmin' along the occasionally turbulent waters.
Those of us in the U.S. (and/or most first world nations) enjoy a markedly smoother passage, on average, however. Unfortunately, many others do not.

About half of the Internet, including people whose stuff I normally follow avidly for unexpected insights, currently seem to be engrossed with the final season of some fantasy series about dragons and dwarves and white people in armor and a lot of stabbing and sex and bleeding and stuff. So maybe that?

Really? Never heard of it.JackRiddler » 07 May 2019 10:42 wrote:About half of the Internet, including people whose stuff I normally follow avidly for unexpected insights, currently seem to be engrossed with the final season of some fantasy series about dragons and dwarves and white people in armor and a lot of stabbing and sex and bleeding and stuff. It's silly how much pride I take in never having seen one episode of this or Survivor or American Idol or America's Got Talent or Dancing with the Stars or The Voice or The Bachelor or Unsolved Mysteries or Matlock or Touched By an Angel or Fear Factor or Big Brother or Extreme Makeover or The Amazing Race or The Facts of Life or Webster or The Fresh Prince or Two and a Half Men or Murder She Wrote or Friends or The Big Bang Theory or Grey's Anatomy or Law and Order or Big Little Lies or NCIS or LA Law or Full House or Dallas or Home Improvement or anything with Ellen DeGeneres or Wayne Brady (other than the Chapelle Show skits).
Of course, there are many more that I wish I could add to this list, but I have instead somehow inexplicably endured. If I have included any TV series worth watching above, please let me keep living in blissful ignorance.

^^But, but... You guys missed out on the coffee cup scandal.
@Jack: it does have people of color. A white guy cut the head off a colored character just last episode!
