The Trickster and the Paranormal, Paidika and paedophilia

Post by Sokolova »

Jeff -

I'm glad you are reading the book I recommended to you 'The Trickster and the Paranormal'. I think you might find it gives you some new insights. The very confusion the trickster generates means we can end up embracing what we think we are confronting - and creating what we fear might already exist.

Oddly enough I have also long been interested in the other aspect of your newest post - the exploits of CSICOP, the FMSF and their connections with paedophilia, which in some cases are truly overt.

Well done for drawing attention to the whole weird Paidika thing. You know that Paul Kurtz - the former chair of CSICOP - is the owner of Prometheus Books that publishes many pro-paedophile titles.

More people need to be made aware that the very people who are 'defending' themselves against charges of paedophilia by claiming false memories are also promoting paedophilia or being closely associated with those who are doing so.

Keep up the good work RI.

See you around

Ellie

Ellie, good to see you.

The blog is a record of my thoughts on the fly, and sometimes it takes me a while to catch up to them. The trickster aspect is one I hadn't fully appreciated before I started down this road, and I'm finding it helps fill in the picture.

Thanks for the tip on Kurtz, didn't know that.

Edited by: Rigorous Intuition at: 11/7/05 10:17 am
