They're still searching block by block.

Evidence recovered from #Watertown: homemade explosives, pipe bombs, another pressure cooker & 200+ spent rounds

Yeah, the friend just said:

False alarm.
What idiot wears a white baseball cap, backwards with 9, 000 cops looking for that!!!!???

Because he's probably doing it on purpose just to fuck with the LEOs.

Unfortunately, if this is some sort of planned strategy-of-tension psyop, having you feel that sense of relief would be, most likely, the primary goal of the operation. I don't say this to be snarky, by the way. I'm not quite ready to jump on the planned-from-above bandwagon just yet either. Just not thrilled about the swarms of imperial storm troopers, regardless of the supposed justification.

Also, the only reason this may seem to be "bigger than 9/11" to some is because it's standing on 9/11's shoulders.

Someone considerably less stupid than the people out searching for a perp dressed exactly the same as he was on Monday.

Hmm. I'm trying to imagine how I might feel if I believed that some crazy bomber (who's already blown up a bunch of people, and murdered others) were hiding somewhere in my neighborhood, someone who probably still had explosives with him. And I'm pretty sure that I'd feel a real sense of relief to see those massive numbers of cops combing the area looking for the guy.

Okay, I can understand feeling some relief if you lived in the exact neighborhood of the incident but 400,000 people are affected by this lock-down. MIT was closed. Banks closed.

This guy hasn't blown up a bunch of people - 2 right? Killed another 2 right? One guy. Totally disproportionate response. Yeah, they have the shiny HS materiel so they're pulling it all out but for cryin out loud. I've seen the FBI chase down bank robbers and drug dealers in daylight without locking down the whole city.
No excuse for this overkill.

$333 million dollars to shut down Boston for a day. Include the costs of 25,000 LEO and logistics, who knows.

http://www.businessweek.com/articles/20 ... -for-a-day

For comparison, 9/11 did somewhere between 93 billion and 3.3 trillion, depending on how you guess at the numbers.

Sure it would; I agree.

Yep. Despite the fact that I got a genuine Office Space "Jump to Conclusions" mat (and a red Swingline stapler!) for my birthday, I'm not ready to start using it yet either. ;)

That's a fair point.

Not too long ago, I read an article in a Jan. 1969 National Geographic issue that spelled out all of the remote sensing technology they had, even back then. It blew my mind. Imagine what they have now, 44 years later! I'm sorry, I don't care how smart these kids are, there is just no way... our massive state would've squashed them like bugs early on in the planning stage. URBAN APPLICATIONS OF REMOTE SENSING references that 1969 article. http://archive.org/stream/urbanapplicat ... l_djvu.txt

Check out the Marathons – A Tale of 2 Cities and the Running of a Planned Mass Casualty Event I linked earlier, from 2008, and tell me that this isn't a side-show from hell.

Requesting of anyone on Reddit, of Reddit and 4chan as a whole, get this request to them:
Look into the backgrounds of every single person reminiscing about the Tsarnaevs.
Every classmate, neighbor, teacher, boss, family member, you name it. All of them.
I suspect if this is a staged whatever, then at least one of these people is in on it.
Even if it's not staged, but true terror, maybe one of them is on it that, too.

Yeah. I heard something like that, too. I hope someone can find/make a YouTube link to those comments.

Yeah, wondering the same thing...

He must've made it to a safe house?

Edit: was just about to bring up the robbery but...

Wtf!?!? They just said they weren't involved?!
