Does this mean I am likely to develop sympathies for the Right?
In the sense of sympathy that you use, that need not develop or be the case just because some ‘right winger’ happens to say something that makes sense, on its own. For instance, John Lash pushing on the issue of the retribution/redemption element in our model seems useful. It’s a pretty strong image for how manipulation is enabled.
For fantastic doctrines supported by sketchy evidence?
I’m not keen on fantastic doctrines either and it is disconcerting how those things can spread.
The odds are very, very small that this will be the case.
And that’s fine, but to get back to John Lash, he (and others on your shit list) may be misguided in his conclusions, this being quite common, perhaps part of the human condition, but he still has some useful things to say.
So it's basically a fucked situation.
Not really, we can ‘hear’ some of what ‘those folk’ say without being taken in by the larger thesis at all, just like we can ‘hear’ the globalist spin on events and likewise, not be taken in the least.
That's why I'm trying to stay true to my values but also hold fast to the choices I have made regarding the "ignore" option...
You can’t do both because ‘ignore’ is no kind of value. Ignore does not really work.
All these things will continue as long as coercion remains a central element of our mentality.
