That in and of itself should raise red flags, but it doesn't. This proves the system of education (freedom to think without limitation except those imposed by the demands of thought itself and established truth, 2+2=4) is really a system of indoctrination where "truth" comes from authority. And today, there is less regard for truth than ever before. 2+2 doesn't even have to = 4.
Quite right. It can also be 10 or 11.
I have to disagree with you on
"the official narrative is full of holes and fabricated to one degree or another."Sure, there's holes in the narrative, because there's stuff we don't know yet, but the narrative being fabricated is taking it way too far. The current narrative is the sum total of the work of thousands, possibly millions of people in all kinds of professions all over the world, working for various public or private entities who often are in competition or on opposite sides of an ideological divide, yet somehow they all come to the same conclusions.
The narrative is the result of centuries of research, testing and discarding hypotheses as they're replaced by better ones. It would require a global conspiracy of unprecedented scale to manufacture a false narrative. The narrative may not be correct, but it's the best one we got, and it's constantly being updated with new knowledge.
Is there institutional inertia slowing down the acceptance of new knowledge in some areas? Of course there is, it's called human nature. No one likes having their career thrown out the window.
In other words, if you're so sure, fill in the holes with concrete and address the issue instead of attacking the questioning person who may or may not furnish evidence or reason that refutes established theory. Try providing reasons and evidence that directly pertain to what's being questioned. For instance, take Neon's friend and address the research she's done on the angle of the sun's rays, airline flight patterns, NASA footage from various space missions if Neon provides that information. Don't dismiss it and call her an idiot.
Sorry, that's not how it works. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. It's not on everyone else to prove you wrong, it's on you to provide evidence to support your claim.
Some quick googling (and common sense. See the picture posted by Pele's daughter) will give you all the evidence you need to show that flat-earth is nonsense.
