Utter nonsense. Who would write such a thing, at a 'liberal' forum no less? Did you know that DU's admin recently stopped allowing links to PI due to 'a few critics of DU'? Utter nonsense. Not a believable reason at all, like throwing Cindy Sheehan out of the gallery at the misStatement of the Union Address. Something else is happening. DU is getting purged of progressives in favor of DLC 'centrists.' And divisiveness is being used as an excuse. The General Clark internet ops are especially vigorous in their combativeness. Just ask Seventhson about his dances with those wolves and getting badjacketed, even computer identity theft and false-flag posting! Recently I found a poster over at PI who regularly posts comments that exactly match the worst characterizations of the liberal anti-war crowd and seem to be intended to discredit PI so that, say, 'conservative' or military boards can get an example of those 'hate-America-first' commie perverts. I found 15 egregious examples from this person/organization in just 10 minutes of searching their posts. So websites are being fractured from within and against each other just as popular movements in the world-wide world are. It is just too damn easy to do and serves the fascists. This is why I insist that dialogues not degenerate into accusations. Collective intelligence and sharing the knowledge is the only way we're going to hang in there against professional institutionalized fascist MindWar. So I encourage you to continue to share your info and not push the beginners away or accuse them of willful intellectual laziness or feed the trolls. We need everyone we can get to understand what we are up against and tell others, including Republicans and military families. Hell, I want the whole damn pie back from TPTB. I even posted earlier that If I were commanded to kill you, even upon "pain of death" of myself or my family members, that I would offer the PTB to "punch you in the nose a couple of times", or it would be NO DEAL, fellas, go ahead and shoot me now. Hugh (and others), the more I think about it the more I think you may be onto something and that I was wrong about efforts to destabilize this board. There has definitely been a fracturing, whether intentional or not. If it's intentional, it's been very clever, and fairly successful. Notice what the division hinges upon -- and I don't think I have to point it out. Anyone who reads this board regularly knows. I still don't think this particular forum amounts to a hill of beans to the real puppet masters. But smaller groups -- especially those known to get their jollies sneaking in their propaganda -- would find this place to be fertile stomping (ahem) grounds. Just thinking out loud. Cui bono?

I understand why you are doing this. I imagine the board as it currently stands makes things difficult for you. There is no shame in taking the law into account. What i fail to understand is that when one realises one is being lied to about history that people then put so much faith in the alternate theories that are waiting, prepared, for that event. I do personally think it is a shame that the topic of the holocaust cannot be discussed in the same way as other topics. i hope you dont take this the wrong way, and know that i have respect for you. In some ways, despite being so right, you words wil sometimes come across to the un-innitiated as being very very wrong. Your righteous anger (and righteous it is) wil scare away those you most need to convince. This leads to a situation in which the power of your position gets lost in thread after thread, due to personification of the discussion. The only person i feel this really hurts is yourself, not those that misunderstand (intentionally or not) and twist your meaning. Maybe it would help to realise that those you need to convince are not those replying disingenously,but the silent majority that read the threads, and those that come to these discussion by searching for a subject on google. And a calm and reasoned argument free of the personal wil stand the test of time, and may even convince a stranger coming across a thread of yours in the future. Good luck with your quest...

You have all gotten away from the bottom line and the entire point of this thread, which is: JEFF WELLS SUPPORTS LAWS THAT LIMIT A PERSON'S RIGHT TO QUESTION THE OFFICIAL STORY OF A VERY IMPORTANT HISTORICAL EVENT. I do not know about the rest of you but I have not seen anyone who has DENIED the Holocaust ever happened. The term HOLOCAUST DENIER is yet another attempt to make anyone who questions the details of the event look like a fringe extremist. The question is WHO was behind the event and who benefits from its agenda? Sure, Nazis are filthy pigs, I certainly lend their cause no support, but why is it wrong for me to simply consider that "things may not be what they seem" when it comes to this particular issue? Should a person be imprisoned for this? Is it ok to question the official story of 9-11 on here, or is that too off limits? And if it is ok do you think it is any less offensive to those who lost loved ones in the WTC crash than it is to the people who lost loved ones in the Holocaust. In questioning the official story of such events we do not wish to offend anyone nor inflict pain upon them. WE WANT THE TRUTH so that those who carried out such filthy crimes can be brought to justice. THE HARD QUESTIONS MUST BE ASKED. But now it is ILLEGAL to ask those questions about the Holocaust in many countries, and Jeff and many others on here seem to support such laws. Will you also support laws that forbid one to question the events of 9-11? Surely those are being drafted up as we speak!!
